There are hundreds of personal finance blogs, but there are always the few that stand out from the rest. For me, two of these are The Luxe Strategist and Fiery Millennials.
This month I was honored to write for both of them!
In the last year, I stumbled across The Luxe Strategist, a savvy New Yorker who clearly spends based on what she values. Her tag line on Twitter is “I save half my income and buy $400 shoes,” so she is all about quality over quantity. After recently going on a trip to Vietnam and Laos, she asked me to write a guest post.
Since her blog has so many phenomenal personal finance How-To guides, we thought a good addition would be how to negotiate a raise or promotion. It’s one of the most thorough guides I have written, and I’m really proud of it. Check it out!
I also reached out to Gwen from Fiery Millenials, whose blog I have been reading for the last two years. She details her adventures in buying a home, moving across the state, and other lofty goals for her life.
Her intrepidness inspired me to start writing this blog! We decided to do a post swap, and so you can read her money diary in DC, and then head over to her blog to check out my post. It covers what to do when you start feeling envious of your friends at the top of Macchu Picchu (definitely not based on a true story…)
Hope you enjoy!
